However, with the increase of confirmed cases and the shortage of medical resources, a temporary modular hospital capable of accommodating 20,000 people will be built in Hong Kong within a week, GS Housing was urgently ordered to deliver nearly 3000 flat packed container houses and assemble them into the temporary modular hospitals in one week.
After receiving the news on 21st, GS Housing has delivered 447 sets modular houses (225 sets prefab houses in Guangdong factory, 120sets prefab houses in Jiangsu factory and 72 sets prefab houses in Tianjin factory) on 21st. Currently, the modular houses have arrived in Hong Kong and are being assembled. The remaining 2553 sets modular houses will be produced and delivered in the next 6 days.
